From: http://www.vln.school.nz/discussion/view/952163

“Would you like to upskill yourself in digital tools and how to use to support teaching and learning?

CreATE at Auckland University on a free online learning series 23Teaching.com.  This is designed to expose and upskill students enrolled in Education degrees on the use of digital tools in the classroom with strong links to the pedagogy.

As it is free on the Internet, class teachers across New Zealand are welcome to participate. One ‘thing’ comes out each week or so with some videos, resources and ideas for use in the classroom. It goes over the year with no new Things on the school holidays or during University holidays”

23 Teaching Things covers:

  • The Cloud
  • Digital Tools for writing, collaboration and graphic organisers
  • How to connect online and build a professional network
  • Copyright and Creative Commons
  • Coding and Maker Space
  • Web 2.0 tools, Flipped Learning and video/Audio
  • Tools for Analysis
  • EPortfolios
  • And much more……….

It is not platform specific.
